Edward W. Nutt's Obituary
Edward W. “Ted” Nutt, 99, of Wildwood passed away Friday, October 26, 2018. Mr. Nutt was born February 16, 1919 in London, England to Walter and Florence (Gunton) Nutt. He had served in the Royal Air Force during WWII. Ted retired from K-Mart in Rutland, VT and has wintered in Wildwood since 1997. In Rutland he belonged to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and he attended both St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Wildwood United Methodist Church here. He and his loving wife, Mary Glenn, were married 33 years ago on his birthday, February 16, 1985. Along with Mary, Ted is survived by his children, Pamela & Alan Simmons and Peter & Valerie Nutt; step-daughter and her husband, Agnes Glenn Laird & Carleton Laird; grandchildren, Dawn Cowley, Emily Dimson, Myles Cotter-Sparrow, Colin Cotter-Sparrow, Mackenzie Laird, Carolyn Laird and Caitlin Laird and a great-grandson, Ashley Cowley. Ted was preceded in death recently by his step-daughter, Pamela Cotter. Burial will be in Rutland, VT at a later date.
