Edward "Eddie" May's Obituary
Edward ‘Eddie’ May passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the age of 90. Eddie was born on February 8, 1923 in Owensboro, KY to the late Alfred and Mable May. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. After his service Eddie moved here to the central Florida area and worked for the power company as a meter reader. He is survived by one son; Kent May of Gainesville, FL, a daughter; Martyne (Rodney) Lipps of Wildwood, FL, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Ella ‘Irene’ May in Aug. of 2004. There will be a visitation for Mr. May on Friday, Apr. 19th in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church of Wildwood on Saturday Apr. 20th. at 8:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the family plot in Oak Grove Cemetery.
