Edna G Willis' Obituary
Edna Garnett Willis, of Oxford, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014. Mrs. Willis was born February 7, 1928 in Walker County, AL to the late Henry and Flossie Mae (Turner) Henderson. She moved here September 10, 1960 from Miami and had worked in the Ballo Thermometer Plant in Fruitland Park and then helped her husband with book keeping at his car dealership in Wildwood. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of the American Legion Post 17 in New Smyrna Beach. She loved gardening and caring for flowers. Survivors include her daughters, Gail Harrell (Chris) of Orlando; Nancy Macdonald (George) of New Smyrna Beach and June Cinicola of Fruitland Park; sister, Virginia Henderson of Jasper, AL; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Willis in 1986 and son, Tommy D. Willis in 1964. Funeral services for Edna Willis will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.
