Eddie Lee Ashburn, Sr.,'s Obituary
Eddie Lee Ashburn, Sr., 64, of Summerfield passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011. In 1999 he moved from Peoria, IL to FL. He retired as a machinist for Caterpillar Inc. Eddie honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Wildwood Masonic Lodge 92, York Rite 32Ëš KCCH Eustis Chapter 33, and Eastern Star Chapter 24. He is survived by his wife, of 44 yrs. Janet P. Ashburn, son, Eddie Lee (Kimberly) Ashburn, Jr.; daughters: Virginia and Mary Ashburn; brother, Alfred T. Ashburn, sister, Judith (Melvin) Perrill; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Eric Pearrow. A visitation will be held 2-4 pm Sunday, April 10th at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home in Wildwood, FL. A reception on behalf of the Eastern Star will be held Sunday, April 10th at 4:00 PM at the Wildwood Masonic Temple. A graveside service with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 11th at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL those wishing to attend please meet at the guard station at 10:45 a.m. Should friends desire memorial contributions they may be made to Wildwood Masonic Lodge 92.
