Earnest Harden's Obituary
Earnest “Earline” Harden, 73, passed away Saturday, May 01, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Earline and husband Sam moved to Montverde, FL after his retirement from the Air Force in 1970. Earline was a supervisor with United Telephone/Sprint. In 1999, they moved to Oxford, FL. Loved by many, she enjoyed caring for her family and friends. Earline was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. Earline was the heart of the family.She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sam; sons: Curtis (Debra) Harden and Steve Harden; daughter, Phyllis (Franklin) Burnett; brothers: Roger and David Jones; sisters: Ellen Bryant; Edith Regan; Sue Barnett; and Charlotte Russ; grandchildren: Michael (Nicole) Miles, Tamra, Samantha, Patricia; great granddaughter, Olivia Miles and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents Wilton and Dosia Jones, her brothers: Richard and Alton Jones; and granddaughter, Kelsey Harden.The family will be present for a visitation from 6pm to 7pm Tuesday, May 4th followed by a service at 7 pm at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel in Wildwood, FL.
