Dorothy E. Thorn, 93, Fruitland Park, FL. went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2017 at The Villages Hospital, The Villages, FL. under the loving care of her family. Mrs. Thorn was born on August 18, 1923 in Kingmont, West Virginia. She moved to Fruitland Park, Florida in 1956 from Fairmont, West Virginia. She was of the Methodist faith and was a proud homemaker. She is survived by her loving daughter: Paulette Lee (Larry W.) Smith of Wildwood, FL; a brother: Dave Boyce of West Virginia; a sister: Joanne Cole of West Virginia; three grandchildren: Darrin Lee Smith, Randy Brian Smith and Paula Denise Williams; six great-grandchildren: Brandi, Nicki, Cody, Tate, Dakota and Taylor; four great-great-grandchildren: Josh, Amber, Chastin and Ben and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edgar L. Thorn. Graveside Funeral Services to be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 1:00PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
