Dorothy Louise Slone's Obituary
Dorothy Louise Slone, 86, of Wildwood, Fl passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013. Mrs. Slone was born February 21, 1926 in Wildwood to the late Leldon and Chrissie (Caruthers) Thomas. Mrs. Slone returned to Wildwood in 1973 from Warsaw, Indiana. She was a retired nurse’s aid, of the Pentecostal faith and loved to crochet and read. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Wallen of Warsaw, In. and Brenda (Jack) Hughes of Wildwood; a sister, Grace Null of Lake Worth, Fl.; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Slone was preceded in death by her husband, John and 2 sons, Eugene and Ricky. Visitation for Dorothy Slone will be held 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment following the service in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
