Dorothy Jeanette Yakey's Obituary
Dorothy Jeanette Yakey, 83, of Lutz passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2011. Mrs. Yakey was born July 21, 1928 in Wildwood and moved to Lutz in 1999 from Atlanta, Ga. She worked for several years as a telephone operator and was a homemaker. Mrs. Yakey was a member of the Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz which she loved along with her family and gardening. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, John; daughters, Paula Yakey of Knoxville, Tn. and Debby (son-in-law, Dominic) Hove of Panama City; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Yakey will be held 11:30am, Wednesday, December 14, 2011, in the Idlewild Baptish Church with visitation from 11:00 until service time. Interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Dorothy Yakey’s name may be directed to the Idlewild Foundation, Lutz, Fl.
