"Miz Wood" lived a long and full life, but it is still a sad occasion. She was indeed one of a kind. Saw her within the past 5 years at church with Charlotte and was amazed at her alertness in her late 90's. A generous and caring wife, mother and friend to others. The first time I spent the night with Marvin, she came to tuck us in bed and insisted on kissing us. I wasn't going to allow that, but she took no notice of my objections. From then on, I knew there was no need to put up a fight.
To Charlotte, Dottie, and Marvin, and all of her family, may God grant you peace in this time of grieving, and I so hope your precious memories will be a comfort to you always.
