Dorothea Lois Lambert's Obituary
Lois Lambert, 84, of Oxford, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010. Mrs. Lambert was born in Oxford and has lived there her entire life. She was a retired postal clerk and bookkeeper and she was a devoted member of the Calvary Apostolic Church in Oxford. She was very dedicated to her family and church family. A pillar of the community and a descendent of one of the pioneering farming families in Oxford. Survivors include her son, Wayne (Beverly) Lambert of Oxford; daughter, Pam (Ronald) Wicker of Oxford; brother, Billy Jo Hurst of Hollister, Ca.; sisters, Venita Beck of Oxford and Barbara Ann (Donald) Smallwood of Livingston, La.; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Lambert will have a Going Home Celebration Friday, April2, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the celebration. Interment will be in the Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 12300 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, Fl. 32778-9972.
