Siegal, Doris Pamela's Obituary
Doris Pamela Siegal, 76, passed away on May 24, 2025 at Cornerstone Hospice House in The Villages, Florida with her son Lewis by her bedside. Doris was born on November 14, 1948 in Quincy, Massachusetts to her parents Gordon Lyons and Marion (Tyte) Lyons.
Doris moved from Old Orchard Beach, Maine to The Villages, Florida 20 years ago. She converted to Judaism as a young mother and raised her children Jewish. She loved to sing along to her favorite Motown songs and loved to travel. She had been to over 30 different countries around the world, traveling by any means necessary, even working on cargo ships to fulfill her dreams. Countries such as Ecuador, Chile, Australia, Fiji, Turkey, Germany, and Israel, just to name a few. She also had many hobbies to keep herself active like snorkeling, photography, swimming with the dolphins, playing mahjong and going to the gun range. Doris was easy to get along with and if you tried to get anything past her she wouldn’t have any problem putting you in your place, She was a tough little woman with a love for life and family. Doris took pride in her home in the Villages Florida and it showed. She loved her family and was proud of her sons and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three loving sons: Richard Siegal of Danforth, ME, Lewis Siegal of The Villages, FL and Sean Siegal and his wife Erika of Weston, MA; a brother Gordon "Sonny" Lyons of Attleboro, Massachusetts; two sisters Robin Treannie of Franklin, MA and Marilyn "Mal" Tucker of Garner, NC; seven loving grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date by her family.
