Donna P. Kinney's Obituary
Donna P. Kinney, 66, of Oxford, Florida went to be with Her Lord and Savior on January 7, 2026, at Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages. Donna was born on September 29, 1959, in Wildwood, Florida to her parents Donald P. Jones, Sr. and Wilma Dean Jones.
Donna spent her career operating a daycare for over 35 years where she devoted herself to loving and raising every child she cared for as her own. She continued her life as a caregiver for her father and mother until they went to be with the Lord. She was a lifelong resident of Sumter County and a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren, and loved to hunt.
Donna is survived by her children: Jeremy Kinney and his wife Jaime of Oxford, FL and Lance Kinney and his wife Jaimie of Wildwood, FL, four grandchildren: Baylor Kinney, Austynn Kinney, Easton Kinney and Jack Kinney, her twin brother: Donald P. Jones, Jr. of Oxford, FL, and sisters: Debra Wade of Wildwood, FL and Tina Wallace of Chattanooga, TN, and several loving nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Donald P. Jones Sr. and Wilma Dean Jones.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Oxford, Florida, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM with Rev. Paul Watson officiating. Burial to follow the Funeral at Nichols Cemetery, Oxford, Florida.
