Donald J Trzuskowski's Obituary
Mr. Donald J. Trzuskowski, 73, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at his home in The Villages. Donald was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to The Villages in 2006 from Medfield, Massachusetts. Before his retirement to Florida he was a Co-Owner and Chief Financial Officer of Compass Technology in Burlington, Massachusetts. He enjoyed golf and was an accomplished cook who loved to prepare special dishes for his family and close friends. He was known for his colorful food presentation. But his true passion was definitely the guitar. He loved music and played the guitar his entire life and when he retired to The Villages he enjoyed spending greater amounts of his time playing music. He had a large circle of musician friends in the area and often played with groups such as Sparky’s Strummers, The Villages Swing Band, and The Garage Pickers at many venues, including Freedom Point. His great sense of humor and friendly disposition will be missed by all of those close to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Catherine Thornton; his sons David (Soraya) Trzuskowski of Warwick, RI; Stephen (Dennis) Trzuskowski of Woodstock, GA; a daughter Laurie McPherson of East Providence, RI; a brother Dennis (Shari) Trzuskowski of Barrington Heights, IL; sisters Dolores Galbraith of Milwaukee, WI; Donna Mae (Dave) Dudor of Oak Creek, WI and The Villages;
3 grandchildren Monica, Sara, and Conner and numerous nieces and nephews.
