Donald Roy Shaw's Obituary
Donald Roy “Duck” Shaw, 72, of Oxford passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. Mr. Shaw was born in Oxford February 9, 1944 to the late Roy D. and Bea (Cowart) Shaw. Duck was a retired mechanic and had been working for several years as a security guard at Oxford Land. He attended many of the Oxford Church’s over the years, enjoyed walking and visiting with his friends. Survivors include a half brothers, Tony Cowart of Ocala and Raymond Shaw of Madison, FL along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Nichols Cemetery, Oxford.
