Donald Ira Harsey's Obituary
Donald Ira Harsey, 77, of Kissimmee, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014. Mr. Harsey was born April 30, 1937 in Wildwood to the late Jacob Archibald and Mavis Mildred (Roberts) Harsey. He graduated from Wildwood High School and has spent most of his adult life in Osceola County. He had served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a Corrections Officer for the Osceola County Sheriffs Dept, and then drove a tour bus for the Broadway Play, Cats. He was an avid Gator fan and had coached the Boys Club Football in Kissimmee. Survivors include his daughter, Terri Harsey Ambrogio of Kissimmee; sons, Donald Gary Harsey (Janel) of Havana and Michael Harsey (Rebecca) of Kissimmee; sister, Dorothy Cantrell of Kissimmee; niece, Kathy Micciantuono and nephew, Steve Cantrell; 5 grandchildren, Lindsey Powell, Jade Harsey, and Zachary Harsey of Kissimmee, and Mark Campbell of Somerset, KY and Jacob Nadal of Pembroke Pines, and 3 great-grandchildren, Jordan Esperance, Laila Espeance and Amiyah Williams of Kissimmee. Visitation for Mr. Harsey will be held 5:00 – 7:00pm, Thursday, November 20, 2014, with the funeral service 11:00am, Friday, November 21, 2014 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel.
