Donald Bannister's Obituary
Donald R. Bannister, Sr. age 68 of Wildwood passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009. Mr. Bannister moved to the area in 1994 from Brandon, Vt. He was retired from Omya, Inc., and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 55, the Lions Club and the Boy Scouts Troop 111 all in Brandon, Vt. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Rutland, Vt. He is survived by his wife Wannetta Bannister of Wildwood, four sons, Donald R. (Gail) Bannister of St. Albans, Vt; Leonard Bannister of Alburg, Vt; Neil Bannister of Alburg, Vt; and Kenneth Bannister of Brandon, Vt., one daughter, Helen (Tim) Columbs of Enosburg Falls,Vt., one brother Douglas Bannister of Layton Cir, Ut and Carl Wixon of Roswell, N.M.; four sisters, Augusta "Ginger" Stearns of Middleberry, Vt; Beverly Devino of Forestdale, Vt; Barbara Spear of Bristol, Vt; Mary (Mike) Jensen of Forestdale, Vt; Six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, he is predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Augusta Bannister, one son Tommy Bannister, one brother Kenneth C.T.
