Delores "Dolly" Joan Cockrell's Obituary
Dolores Joan “Dolly” Cockrell, 75, Sebring, FL, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2013 under the loving care of her family and staff of Good Shepherd Hospice. Mrs. Cockrell was born on February 12, 1938 in Gary, Indiana to her parents Casimer and Clara Nawrocki. She was a Certified Tax Appraiser for Highlands County for over 25 years. She and her husband moved to Sebring 39 years ago from Cleveland, Ohio and were members of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church of Sebring, Florida where she had served as an Usher and Eucharistic Minister. She was a Columbiettes for the Knights of Columbus Council #5441 of Sebring, FL, Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post #4300 of Sebring, FL and was a former member of the Elks and Moose Lodge both of Sebring, FL. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Victor M. Cockrell of Sebring, FL; five sons: Dennis P. Kaczmarek of Painesville, OH, David A. Kaczmarek of Concord Township, OH, Donn E. Kaczmarek of Riverview, FL, Robert Cockrell of Chagrin Falls, OH and Richard Cockrell of Newburgh Heights, OH; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
