Debbie Kaczvinsky (Ortiz)'s Obituary
The Villages, FL- Debbie Jane Kaczvinsky (Ortiz), 49, entered eternal rest Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 in the arms of her husband, her loving and supportive daughters and family by her side at the Villages Cornerstone Hospice House. Born in Bridgeport, CT she attended Bassick High School and Housatonic Community College. She followed her dreams and moved to The Villages, Florida with her beloved husband Gary to spend the rest of their lives together and to be closer to her two daughters and their families. Prior to leaving to Florida she was employed at Arcade Metal Stamping, Ben's Fuel and Fairprene Industrial Products. A proud Mary Kay Consultant and Volunteer EMT for Trumbull EMS and past member of the Bridgeport Golden Bucaneer Drum and Bugle Corps.Debbie was a woman of beauty, strength and laughter. Her charisma brought energy to everyone she encountered and will truly be missed. She leaves behind her husband, Gary Kaczvinsky, 2 daughters, Jessica McCarthy and Stephanie Mazza. Sons-in-law Dennis McCarthy and Paul Mazza as well as her four cherished grandchildren: Julianna & Erin McCarthy, Brianna and Giovanni Mazza. She was the daughter of Frank and Anna Ortiz, Her grandmother Virginia Patron and three sisters: Lillian Ortiz, Dolores Fonseca (Ortiz) & Anne Ortiz all of Bridgeport, CT. as well as brother-in-law Raphael Fonseca, several aunts and uncles, nieces and a nephew.The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel with a Vigil Wake Service at 6:30 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon Thursday, March 5, 2009,at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, with Father Peter Sagorski, celebrant
