Darell Wayne Morgan's Obituary
Darell Wayne Morgan, 70, of Belleview, Fl, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, November 9, 2024, at his home. He was born December 27,1953 in Birmingham, Alabama.
As a small child, Darell picked up the guitar quickly and self-taught himself the instrument. A phenomenal guitar player, gifted by God, entertainer, the guy with the golden voice, beautiful smile, heartfelt hugs, heart of gold, and oh the music he gave to us. Folks would travel for miles to listen and watch him play the guitar and hear his incredible vocals ring out songs of any genre. Southern Rock, Rock n’ Roll, any style of Country Music - from hard core or an old Classic Haggard song to an awesome rip of an awesome Blues Song. Darell was a master to gaze upon and very humble at acknowledging it. He was considerate, thoughtful & never minded sharing the stage with anyone. A truly wonderful human being. A legend to our music world, embedded in our hearts and memories forever. He lived a wonderful life and loved his people, who were YOU - family, friends, neighbors and just about everyone he met, AND, of course, he loved his music and his wife, which were his breath and soul. YOU loved him back and he was grateful. He always said, besides “don’t tell me what to do”, “God Bless You!” He will be missed, but never forgotten. He definitely made his mark on our hearts. God bless Darell W. Morgan!
