Oh my, what to say about Danny. I first got to know him when had restaurants in Metamora, Indians. When we had a big snow and I had a snow day and Danny had little business, we played cards. Dan was a master card player. He taught me Gin Rummy and we would play for hours. We would also play Mastermind. I never won at either if these games, but I looked forward to my snow days. One Feb. 2nd I had a "Ground Hogs Party" and invited Debbie whose classroom was next to mine at the time. Danny came, they met, played cards and the next is history! Even though I haven't seen Danny in a very long time, he will be missed. A good guy gone too soon. Prayers for you Debbie and for all the family. Love, Suzy Booth

To Danny Rest In Peace, and to all the special times we shared, you have left a spot on my heart as our roads have passed in this lifetime. Until we meet again farewell.

I will miss you Dan. My children will always know and remember “Grandpa Dan” who taught them when to up the bet and when to fold.
My kids, thanks to you, will always know that three of a kind beats two pair and not to bluff a man who has nothing to lose. The Poker games over the Holidays had nothing to do with poker and I thank you for letting them think they did. I know they will look back and realize what was actually taking place.
Most importantly, you taught them that a kind person and a good person always has a place in this world and I thank you for that lesson.
You were always wonderful to me, my wife and my children and I always looked forward to a Bailey’s after dinner with you. You departed too soon and I regret not being able to spend more time with you.
Signed - someone who no longer sees the value of Nippon Porcelin without you in our world.
