Dannie Andrews' Obituary
Dannie D. Andrews, age 67, of Wildwood, Florida passed away Friday, October 8, 2010. He was born January 9, 1943 in Orange Lake, Florida. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Lowry, Norfolk, Virginia in 1962 during the Cuban missle crisis. Before retiring he worked for Dixie Lime & Stone, Sumterville, FL and Florida Crush Stone in Brooksville, FL for 22 years. He was devoted to his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and his pets named (Lucky, Wokers and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). He is survived by his loving wife of 40 ½ years, Mary; sons, Glenn (Laura) of Kannapolis, NC; Roger (Tina) of Homassassa, FL; Tony (predeceased), Kevin (Tiffany) of Wildwood, FL; 4 Grandchildren; 4 Great-grand children; Loving Mother-in Law, Ruth M. Farkus; Brother, Mark of Wildwood, sister-in-law, Alice Andrews and Sheila of Henderson, Sumter County. Mr. Andrews is predeceased by his mother and father, Janie and Ivey Ray Andrews, brothers; Frank Andrews Sr, and Fred Andrews. The family will receive family and friends from the 15-17th of October at the family residence. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the American Cancer Society.
