Daniel Bert Longfellow's Obituary
Daniel Bert Longfellow, 72, of The Villages, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015. Mr. Longfellow was born January 11, 1943 in Wyandotte, MI to Harry and Mary (Church) Longfellow. He had served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and had retired as an accountant from Kelsey-Hayes in Romulus, MI. He moved to The Villages in 2007 from Estero, FL. Daniel was a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ and had enjoyed golfing, traveling and playing cards. Survivors include his loving wife, Suzanne; siblings, Jack (Vivian) Longfellow, Bruce (Dolores) Longfellow, Janet (Larry) Hyder; brother-in-law, Bob (Janet) Beutner; sister-in-law, Pat Beutner along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the Wildwood Church of Christ with visitation from 11am – 12noon. Interment will be in Michigan Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wildwood Church of Christ, 114 Cleveland Avenue, Wildwood, FL 34785 or the National Parkinsons Foundation, 200 SE First Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
