Curtis Robert Belt's Obituary
Curtis Robert Belt, 90, Leesburg, FL passed away on June 21, 2015 in Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Belt was born on July 17, 1924 in Harrisburg, Illinois to his parents Earl and Ella Belt. Mr. Belt was a former Plant Manager in the Meat Packing Industry. He and his wife moved to Florida in 2007 from Flint, Michigan and was a member of Bethany United Presbyterian Church in Flint, Michigan. He was a proud Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He loved to re-model homes and play bridge and had taught Sunday School back in Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years: Dortha Belt of Leesburg, FL; a son: Perry Belt of Flint, MI; a daughter: Phyllis (James) Pettey of Wildwood, FL; two sisters: Helen Knapp of Mt. Carmel, IL and Elsie Coleman of Swartz Creek, MI; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son Charles Belt and several brothers and a sister.
