Colleen Helen Noviello's Obituary
COLLEEN HELEN PRIDMORE NOVIELLO
On October 31, 2020 Colleen Noviello passed on. Colleen died
suddenly of natural causes while holding hands with her daughter
Phyllis who was sitting next to her, and reminiscing about a recently
seen television show.
Colleen was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on August 14, 1929
to Helen Marie Weiss Pridmore and Horace Sidney Edward
Pridmore. Colleen and her late husband, of fifty-three years,
Nicholas Noviello, Jr. raised five children in Cortlandt, New York.
Colleen is survived by four sons Nicholas Robert, Michael, Matthew,
and Nicholas Anthony and daughter Phyllis.
Family was always important to Colleen. She is also survived
by seven grandchildren Charlotte (William) Durma, Jennifer Noviello
(Jon), Colleen M. Noviello (Ryan E. Hibbs), Matthew (Ericka)
Noviello, Jr., Sarah Shermeta, Krystle (Michael) Volpe, and Brian
Shermeta, ten great-grandchildren: Christopher Bush, Jr., Derek
Bush, Kristina Noviello, Michael Volpe, Jr., Ava Bush, Henry Hibbs,
Thomas Volpe, Cailey Noviello, Oliver Hibbs, and Francesca Volpe;
and one sister, Victoria Weisgerber. One granddaughter Leilani
Shermeta and two sisters Gwendolyn Reibling, Phillis Hinchcliff predeceased Colleen.
Anyone who knew Colleen well would remember that she had a
pleasant personality and was always known for a very sharp wit.
Colleen had a dry sense of humor which she could implement while
portraying various accents. Colleen also knew how to be strong when
she needed to. She had survived malignant cancer nine times and
was in remission for sixteen years; two intertrochanteric hip fractures,
and four strokes.
Colleen also had an amazing ability to develop systems to
organize a legal office. Colleen was a Certified Paralegal, set up, and
for years managed the Nicholas Noviello, Jr., and later Noviello &
Noviello, Esqs., law office.
