Clyde Pearson Hyatt's Obituary
Clyde P. Hyatt, age 84, of Wildwood passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009. Mr. Hyatt and his wife, Martha bought a home at Continental Country Club in 1989, they became permanent residents in 1994. He was active in the Men's Nine Hole Golf Association for many years. Mr. Hyatt is a member of Chapel of Christian Faith, Lady Lake, Fl. Born in Baltimore, Md on August 27, 1924. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, in the Pacific theater (Philippines and Japan) from1944-1946, he was a former Deacon and Elder in the Presbyterian Church in Maryland, a 60 year member of Corinthian Lodge #93, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons in Maryland; a 50 year member of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite; and a 50 year member of Boumi Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S. He retired in 1982 as a Highway Engineer for the State of Maryland. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha of Wildwood. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel with Pastor Larry Zimmerman officiating. An Inurnment will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2009 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl.
