Clyde A. Nairn's Obituary
Clyde A. Nairn, 71, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Born on Sunday, March 14, 1954, in Miami, Florida, he was the son of Mark A. and Edna (née Smith) Nairn.
Clyde had a lifelong love of music. In his younger years, he played trumpet and congo drums in a band called Sandalwood—a group that remarkably continues to perform today. He also enjoyed cheering on his favorite local sports teams especially the Tampa Bay Rays and following their journeys with enthusiasm.
A proud veteran, Clyde honorably served his country in the United States Army.
Clyde will be remembered for his warm heart, unwavering kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a gift for making people feel valued and always greeted life with a positive spirit.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary E. (Steven) Patz of California and Bonnie Mualam of Florida; brothers, Kenneth (Benita) Nairn of Ohio and Harry L. Nairn of Colorado; sister, Nancy Dunn of Florida; and two cherished grandchildren, Theodore and Eleanor. Clyde will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a time and date selected by the family at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 854 Memorial Drive, Avon Park, FL 33825.
