Clyde Leroy Brown's Obituary
Clyde Leroy Brown, 82, of Lecanto, Florida passed away on January 21, 2022. He was born in Leesburg, Florida on November 30, 1939 to the late Debbie (Sellars) and Cullen Mason Brown who were life long residents of Wildwood, Florida. Clyde attended and graduated from Wildwood High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. Retired from CSX Railroad and was a life long resident of Florida. He was an avid fisherman, a member of The Masons Wildwood Chapter, American Legion of Wildwood and also the Scottish Rites of Free Masons. Clyde was an avid family man and a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Clyde also love spending time outdoors hunting for Squirrels. Clyde was preceded in death by his siblings, Cooter, Mason, Evelyn and Jeanette. Clyde is survived by his wife, Ann Brown; 4 children, Lynya (Bob) Hagert, Angela (Jeff) Brown, Johnny (Barbie) Shaw, Lydia (William) Hill; 5 grandchildren, Shane(Meghan),Olivia(Matt), Savannah(Scott), Jennifer(John), Gentry(Stacy); 14 Great grandchildren, Preston, Madison, Emma, Jameson, Kail, Chloe, Lucca, Collin, Sara Jane, Rachel, Josie, Marleigh, Noah and Eleanor.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM to be followed by a Funeral service where Pastor Paul Watson will be celebrating Clyde's life at 11:00 AM. The celebration will take place at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, 410 Webster St. Wildwood, Florida. Followed by the committal that will take place at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Floral City, Florida.
