Clara T. Mizell's Obituary
Clara T. Mizell, 88, Coleman, FL went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 12, 2016 in Wildwood, FL. Mrs. Mizell was born on November 24, 1927 in Beechfork, West Virginia to her parents John A. Millsap and Nannie Lou (Beavers) Millsap. She was a Bookeeper / Secretary for Sears at their warehouse in Tampa, Fl. She moved from Tampa to Coleman 1985 but had originally moved to Florida in 1946 from West Virginia with her parents. Clara was very active in her church in Tampa, singing in the choir, teaching sunday school. After retiring and moving back to Sumter County she was also very active at Adamsville Baptist Church, singing in the choir, teaching sunday school, working on vacation bible school and being the church Treasurer for over 19 years. Mrs. Mizell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hugh H. Mizell and her youngest daughter, Karen Wright. She is survived by her loving daughters: Gwen M. (Albert) Reyes of Tampa, FL and Pamela M. Walls of Wildwood, FL; a brother: Frank J. Millsap of Waynesboro, MS; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 4:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL. with Visitation to be held prior to the service from 2:00PM till the hour of service at the funeral home.
