Charles C. Purser's Obituary
Charles C. Purser, 78, Wildwood, Fl passed away on April 7, 2013 in Sumterville, Florida. Mr. Purser was born on December 14, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents Charles A. and Amelia M. Purser. He was employed by General Motors for over 30 years as an Auto Worker. Mr. Purser was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army and was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church in Hamtramck, Michigan and moved to Wildwood in 2000 from Hamtramck, Michigan. He enjoyed playing cards and going fishing. He is survived by his loving sons: David Purser of Wildwood, Florida and Robert Purser of Harrison Township, Michigan; four grandchildren: Jeffrey, Ryan, Robert and Joseph; several nieces and nephews, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joann W. Purser. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 1:00PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
