Charles N Herter's Obituary
Charles “Chip” N. Herter, 68, of The Villages passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011. In 2009 he moved from PA to FL. He retired as the owner of Bill Lyon’s Campus Shoesin Wyckoff, N.J. Chip honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Lion’s Club in NJ and the NRA in PA. He enjoyed Golf, NASCAR following No. 17 driven by Matt Kenseth, traveling and Disney. He is survived by his wife, of 21 1/2 yrs. Barbara Jean Herter, son, David (Diane) Vibert; daughters: Kristin (William) Killen and Diane (Joel) Brush; brother, Edward (Gail) Herter; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Edward Herter and daughter, Paige Elizabeth Herter. A memorial service be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9th at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home in Wildwood, FL. On line condolences may be left by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
