Charles Robert German's Obituary
Charles Robert German, 87, of Sebring passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018. Mr. German was born November 3, 1930 in Parkersburg, WV to Percival Enos and Ruth G (Frisky) German. He entered the Navy at age 16 and made it his first career. He was a Veteran of both Korea and Vietnam. After retiring from the Navy, Charley then went to work in Civil Service and retired a second time. He moved to Sebring in 2010 from TN and was a member of the American Legion and VFW in Sebring. Charley loved boating, fishing and traveling. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Jean; daughter, Melissa German; stepchildren, Charles R. Buchanan, Robert E. Buchanan and Kathryn Rose Buchanan; 4 grandchildren with a great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
