Charles R. Conway Jr.'s Obituary
Charles R. Conway, Jr., Lake Placid, Florida passed away on February 23, 2017 at Florida Hospital in Lake Placid, Florida. Mr. Conway was born on May 6, 1933 in Mapleton Depot, Pennsylvania to his parents Charles R. Conway and Sara (Skipper) Conway. Mr. Conway was a retired Automotive Mechanic who had worked in Akron, Ohio his entire professional career. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed watching television, working in the yard and also liked to work on his car and other small engines until his health changed forcing him to limit his outdoors and working abilities. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years: Marion Conway, a son: Thomas (Dorcas) Conway; a daughter: Ramona G. (Donald) Philabaum; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
