Charlene Evans Douglass' Obituary
Charlene Evans Douglass, 62, Coleman, Florida went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2015 at Lane Purcell Hospice House in Sumterville, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Douglass was born on February 11, 1953 to her parents Hugh Edward Evans and Wanda Charlene (Johnson) Evans. Mrs. Douglass had been employed for over 20 years as a bookkeeper for Baird Home Corporation in Fruitland Park, FL. She was a long time resident of Central Florida and was of the Christian faith. Charlene was a graduate of Wildwood High School class of 1971. She had been a dedicated band mother for Leesburg High School for over 7 years. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, knitting, was an awesome seamstress, an avid reader and an excellent cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years: Dee Douglass of Coleman, FL; her father: Hugh Edward Evans of Coleman, FL; two daughters: Danita D. (Cody) Jackson of Eustis, FL and Amanda L. (Chris) Grover of Leesburg, FL; two sisters: Sheila Evans of Tampa, FL and Christy Cochran of Oxford, FL; two grandchildren: Abigail and Ethan. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00AM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, FL.
