Ceasar A Turchiarelli's Obituary
Ceasar Anthony Turchiarelli was called home by his Lord and Savior on August 23, 2015. He was married to Teresa (Caimano) Turchiarelli for 69 years. Two children were born to them, Janet Claire Merop and Daniel Turchiarelli, Sr.
Ceasar was born in Bovino, Italy on June 11, 1919 and came to the United States when he was nine years old. He served in the U.S. Army, Lightning Division, 8th Field Artillery Battalion during World War II. He is a Pearl Harbor survivor having been at Hickham, Field, Hawaii when Pearl Harbor was attacked. He served in Guadalcanal, Philippines and the Pacific Theater.
Mostly all of his working life was as a machinist for Maxwell House Coffee in Hoboken, NJ.
Ceasar is survived by his wife, Teresa, of Boca Raton, Florida and three children, Janet C. Merop, and spouse, Kenneth, of Sebring; Daniel Turchiarelli, Sr. and spouse, Deborah of Boca Raton; Thomas Turchiacelli, of Sebring as well as five grandchildren: Christopher Paul Olsen (spouse Bethanne) of Aspen, Colorado; Daniel Turchiarelli, Jr. (spouse Kara) of Boca Raton; Andrea Mize (spouse Marc) of Boca Raton; Christopher Charles Merop (spouse Sara) of Lilburn, GA; and William Andrew Merop (spouse Heather) of Frostburg, MD. He has seven great grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Turchiarelli, Raegan Elizabeth Mize; Walter Raymond, Christina Renee and William Edward Merop; and, Jonathon Christopher and Hayley Mae Merop.
Ceasar loved the Lord with all of his heart, soul, mind and strength, and exhibited that in his way of life. He led by example in his personal prayer life and Bible reading; always taking his family to church. His testimony was seen also in his Christian work ethic. He served the Lord over the years through his church and the care of his family who were all such a joy to him.
Ceasar has been a strong Christian husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a favorite uncle to nieces and nephews as well as a dependable friend.
As his strength failed, his family was ready for his passing, but not his loss. Our comfort is in knowing he is with the Lord and we will see him again as he has changed his address from earth to heaven.
