Catlin Joseph Nichols' Obituary
Catlin Joseph “Red” Nichols, 36, Citrus Springs, Florida passed away suddenly
on December 26, 2024, in Ocala, Florida. Red was born on August 17, 1988, in
Inverness, Florida to his parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nichols.
Red was a lifelong resident of Citrus County and graduated class of ‘06 from
Citrus High School in Inverness. Red worked as a concrete truck driver for
Preferred Materials in Ocala. Red truly knew that it was more blessed to give than
to receive. His generosity knew no bounds. He was the kind of man that would
give you the shirt off his back. His radiant smile would light up every room he
walked into and his witty jokes would cause laughter to echo throughout the room
even after he walked out. He loved spending time with his friends and riding his
Yamaha V-Star with his group of riding buddies. He made new friends everywhere
he went and never knew a stranger. He lived his life every day to the fullest and
especially loved spending time with his family and their beloved dogs; Chief,
Rocket and Sydney.
Red is survived by his lifelong friend and wife of 4 years: Linda Jo Nichols and
their children: Brendan Belcher, Gisselle Brenner and Meia Brenner. His brother:
Terry Hemmer and his wife; his sisters: Krystal Nichols and Roberta Nichols. His
family was his everything. He did anything and everything for them. He was the
kind of family man who, no matter the situation, if it was 2am that he would be on
his way with no issues and no complaints. He loved his family with his whole heart
even though he isn't with us anymore, he will always be with us in our hearts and
in our minds.
The family invites all Red’s friends and those who loved him to his Celebration of
Life which will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 3:00PM at Banks,
Page-Theus Funeral Home, at 410 Webster St in Wildwood, Florida with a
visitation to be held prior to the service from 1:00PM till the hour of service at the
