Catherine F. DiMeo, 78, The Villages, Florida passed away on June 22, 2021 at Cypress Care Center in Wildwood, Florida. Catherine was born on June 5, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to her parents Joseph Malfronte and Francis (Selmo) Malfronte. She was a retired Customer Service Representative from Capitol One Bank working mainly in Queens, New York. Catherine started her career in Banking at Chase Manhattan Bank as a Teller. She and her loving husband Richard moved to The Villages, Florida 15 years ago from Queens, New York. She was of the Catholic Faith. Catherine enjoyed painting landscape scenes and creating beautiful pottery pieces. She was extremely creative in both painting and pottery. Catherine loved to be surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years: Richard A. DiMeo of The Villages, FL; two daughters: Lisa Zervis and her husband Charles of Brewster, NY and Andrea Steiner and her husband Brian of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren: Kate Marie Zervis, Nicholas Alexander Zervis, Samantha Steiner and Andrew Steiner. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, and all of her siblings. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2:00PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, Florida with Entombment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida.
