Carolynn Rebekah Cox's Obituary
Carolynn Rebekah "Becka" Cox, 68, of Wildwood, FL, passed away on February 24, 2026. Becka was born on July 21, 1957, in Washington, D.C. to her parents: David Henry and Julia Elizabeth (Land) Groover.
Becka became a resident of Florida when she was a child, she was of the Baptist faith and a member of AMVETS. Becka was a dedicated employee of Hallmark for over 20 years before her retirement. She enjoyed spending her time playing golf, bingo, cooking and singing karaoke. Becka also loved to sew, especially quilts, which her family will pass down for generations to come as heirlooms.
Becka was a social butterfly with a smile that lit up a room. She never met a stranger and will be remembered for her kindness and her helpful, courageous spirit.
Becka is survived by her husband of 15 years, Michael Cox, her children: Laura (Michael) Brooks, Michael Mcclenny, Rebekah Mcclenny, Robert Cox and Michael Wesley Cox, her grandchildren, James Griffin, Samantha Griffin, Jack Griffin, Taylor Brooks, Reese Brooks, Evie Mcclenny, Brice Cox, Wesley Cox and Gage Cox, and a brother David Groover Jr.
Becka is preceded in death by her parents; David and Julia Groover and siblings Lloyd and Ann.
