Carol Ruth Rogers' Obituary
Carol Ruth Rogers, 68, of Leesburg went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Mrs. Rogers was born July 17, 1948 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Albert and Helen (Cattoor) Parker. She was an early education teacher moving here from Homestead in 2003. Carol was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood where she continued to teach Sunday School and be involved with AWANA and the children’s ministry. She enjoyed square dancing, line dancing, horseback riding, playing cards, visiting lighthouses, boating and being on and near the water. Carol especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family. She has been a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior and this was easily seen by her love for others and interactions with them. Survivors include her children, Debora Harris of Homestead, Patricia Williams of Spring Hill, Glenda (Donald) Diveley of Brooksville and Brenda (Daniel) Jones of Spring Hill; siblings, Don, Adelle, Gloria, Betty and Bill and families; grandchildren, Brian, Austin, Tyler, Trent, Troy, Brendan, Zackery, Justyn, Rylee and Kaylee; 4 stepchildren Don, Colleen, Robert, & Michael and their families. Carol’s family and friends will celebrate her life Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 3:00 in the First Baptist Church of Wildwood.
