Carol Layman's Obituary
Carol Ann (Welch) Layman went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009. Born May 11, 1949 to Nelson and Tim (Mildred) Welch. Carol grew up in Liberty Center, Ohio. On August 18, 1969 she married Roy Daniel Layman and moved to Swanton, Ohio where they had 4 children to love and raise. In 1988 the family moved to Wildwood, Fl. Carol was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She had worked at Walmart for 21 years, bringing her happy smile to many people. Carol loved her cats. She was known for taking in strays and giving them a loving home. Carol's greatest love was her family especially her three grand children, Justin, Alexandria and Brianna. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Roy, children Lynette, Nancy, Daniel and Kevin (Tiffany). Also surviving is her mother, Tim Welch, sisters Mary and Cathy, also missing her is her brother-in-law Ken (Jania) Layman and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2009 with a 7:30 p.m. Vigil, at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Bushnell, Fl. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery Wildwood.
