Carl Homer Brosius' Obituary
Carl H. Brosius, age 87, of Avon Park, passed away on December 3, 2018. Carl was born on September 30, 1931 in Garrettsville, Ohio to Harry Homer and Florence Mabel (Luton) Brosius. Carl moved to Avon Park in 1999 from Orland. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sandra Kangas. Carl proudly served his country during the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force.
Carl was an active member of the Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Sebring, he enjoyed fishing and when his health allowed, loved to spend time on the golf course.
Carl is survived by his wife Sandra K., son Raymond Carl Brosius of Weston, West Virginia, son Randy Charles Brosius of Ocala, step-son Peter A. Bouton of Orlando, daughter Rachel L. Wilthew of Drennan, West Virginia, daughter Robin L. McLeod of Ocala, step-daughter Cindy A. Brault of Andover, Connecticut, sister Wilma R. Dilly of Mesa, Arizona, 13 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul Brosius and sister Mary J. Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 11:00 AM at the Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Sebring.
