Calvin S Vaughn, Jr.,'s Obituary
Calvin “PeeWee” Vaughn, Jr, 59, of Oxford passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, February 9, 2012. PeeWee was born October 24, 1952 in Wildwood. He was a lifelong resident, employed at Citrus Recycling for 17 years and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Oxford. He went to Wildwood High School and was in the class of 1970. He loved fishing, laughing and having fun, enjoying life and his friends. Survivors include his daughter, Pam (Mike, fiance‘) of Oxford; sister Kathy (P.J.) Porter of Oxford; granddaughter and apple of his eye, Kiera Evans; 2 nieces, Melanie Thomas of Groveland and Christy (Keith) Clark of Wyoming; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece; Trevor Thomas, Levi Clark and Kaitlyn Clark; Loving family friend, Sandy Messina. Preceded in death by his mother, Angie Vaughn and father Calvin Vaughn, Sr. PeeWee’s life will be celebrated on Sunday, February 12, 2012, at 2:00pm, in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment following in Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday 4:30 – 7:30pm at the funeral home.
