I don't have adequate words for how much Brett meant to me and all our friends in Portland Oregon. He was my big brother, always laughing, always ready to play. I remember him reading the Tolkien books on our front porch, and playing with him and Strider in the rain. I am so sorry for your loss, please know he had a huge impact on all of us. I feel so grateful and blessed to have known Brett. He was a true dear friend, of whom loved his family and spoke of them often with pride. I will never forget all of our wonderful memories, good laughs, Condor hugs and tripping over Strider as he lay in the middle of the way in the mix of everything. Brett was kind, gentle, talented and a giving giant. He would drop everything to help a friend in need, and always had a good listening ear.
