Bobby Leatherman's Obituary
Bobby Leatherman, 84, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Mr. Leatherman was born December 29, 1930 in Lincolnton, NC to Charlie and Hattie Lee (Miller) Leatherman. He moved here in 1955 from Vale, NC and was a farmer and rancher. Bobby owned and operated Bobby Leatherman Seed &Hay in Oxford. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his daughters, Debra Smith (Kenny) and Sandra Leatherman both of Oxford; sister, Christine Davis of Vale, NC and a granddaughter, Sterling Smith. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Iona on May 15, 2010. Visitation for Bobby will be 10am – 12pm, Saturday, May 30th with the funeral service following in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
