Billy A. Penley's Obituary
Billy A. Penley, 62, Wildwood, Florida passed away on April 11, 2016 at The Villages Regional Hospital in The Villages, Florida. Mr. Penley was born on January 15, 1954 in Athens, Alabama to his parents Jeter Penley and Marjorie (McNairy) Penley. Mr. Penley was an Incinerator Operator for the City of Wildwood, Florida at the Woodsite Facility. He was a lifelong resident of Wildwood, Florida and was of the Christian faith. He was extremely devoted to the children of the area while serving as a “Coach” of Baseball, Softball and Football. He loved golfing, jai-lai, horse racing and also watching sports. He loved his children and his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years: Patti Penley; five sons: Billy Penley, Jr, Michael Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, Nicholas “Gator” Sapp and Kristopher “Jeter” Penley; five daughters: Angela Penley, Kristine Ecord Warren, Tonya Ecord, Melissa Slanker and Brandie Ward; eighteen grandchildren; two great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM and Monday, April 18, 2016 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 3:00PM at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida. A Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood, Florida.
