Billy Crosby's Obituary
Billy Leroy Crosby, 90, of Dunnellon, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. Mr. Crosby was born February 7, 1926 in Starke, FL to Colonel Albert and Aura (Edmondson) Crosby. He was a U.S. Navy, WWII Veteran. Billy moved to Wildwood in 1983 from Dunnellon then returned to Dunnellon in 2006. He was a retired Freight Agent for CSX and a member of the Wildwood United Methodist Church. Billy loved fishing, growing vegetables and being with his family. Survivors include his son, Billy Leroy Crosby, Jr. and his wife Jackie of Dunnellon; daughter, Jackie Blersch and her husband, Dave of Dunnellon; brother, W.C. Crosby of Tallahassee; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Dekle) Crosby. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Interment will be private at Florida National Cemetery.
