Betty C Johnson's Obituary
Betty C. Johnson, 73, of Wildwood went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 08, 2015. Mrs. Johnson was born September 5, 1942 in Leesburg to Bennie B. and Effie Mae (Fort) Coleman. She has lived here most of her life. Betty is a member of the First Baptist Church of Center Hill. Betty served for many years as the Pastor’s wife and enjoyed that role, especially when helping with the children. She also enjoyed painting, coloring, crocheting and playing the piano. Survivors include her loving husband with whom she celebrated their 53rd anniversary on November 24th, Bill, son, John Johnson (Beverly) of Wildwood, daughter, Teresa Baker (Allen) of Oxford, brother, John Coleman (Amy) of Columbia, SC, sister, Jean Symonds (Joe) of Wildwood, 2 grandchildren, Bailey (Justin) and Taylor (Matt), 3 great-grandchildren, Paisley, Ava and Addie Mae along with many of her kids from daycare who call her Grammie. Visitation will be Thursday, 5–7pm in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, December 11, 2012, in the First Baptist Church of Wildwood with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood. In lieu of flowers, Betty had requested that you please make a contribution to your favorite charity in her name. Arrangements are entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus Funerals and Cremations, Wildwood.
