Mrs Warren was my second grade teacher. And my daddy's Richard Lee second teacher. She was the first teacher I met that wasn't in it because of a job.. she wasn't it to inspire us and teaches and motivate us she got gratification out of seeing her over students to seed I had trouble with my reading and I was dyslexic she took extra time with me and even keeping me after school to give me extra time and driving me home and talkin to my parents she will truly be missed and my condolences to her family
I miss her. I have missed her for years. She was never the same after Mr. George passed away in 2010. I had expressed interest in her beautiful daughter Ruth Ann 40 years ago. The family welcomed me for Sunday dinner back in 1979. I felt a closeness at that dining room table I missed for many years. Carol, GL, BJ, and Ruth Ann made me feel welcome. Bj's last words to me at that time was, Very nice to meet you and come back any time. Little did she know, how much a part of the family I would be. At times I felt she was my mother, she guided me, we laughed, and made me cry.
I can't imagine any family I would have wanted to be a part of.
Good bless BJ' soul, we all Love her for always and forever
Love Chris
Betty Warren was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma for key women educators for 46 years. She was a delightful faithful member, always making us laugh. She loved teaching and wanted to make a difference, even after she retired. Each year when she paid her annual dues she always included an extra contribution to our scholarship fund which went to a young lady attending Lake Sumter State College to become a teacher. George was so patient and supportive of her membership that he would drive her to the night meetings in Lake County and wait for her in the car so that she could attend the meetings. She was a good friend and outstanding teacher. We will miss her tremendously.

I have lost one of my best friends and a buddy from the beginning of my career. Betty Jo will still be in my heart until the day I die. Hard to express just what she has meant in my life. She was my mentor offering guidance when I first began teaching at WE School. She became more than a teacher that first year we were together. We shared so much that first year that we became great friends and she has always been there for me through thick and thin and most importantly we have shared thousands of laughs....joy sharing. Sooo when all her former students show their love for her, and her teaching style and way with children, it was just the same for me. A very good part of me and so many wonderful memories have gone with her now to heaven, and I just know she will put in a good word for me to God because she always has. I miss you my friend, Rest In Peace, and I promise that we will laugh and sing again! I love you.
Mrs. Betty Jo and family have been life long friends of our family. The Aubrey Caruthers family sends their condolences and love to the family.

Oren and I send our love to all of you. We love you! Aunt Betty Jo meant the world to us. She was a very special person that had so much spirit. My kids have so many memories with her and George, memories that will last their lifetime. So from us, thank you for letting her be part of our lives. May you have peace during this difficult time. God has received another sweet soul to join the Hills. May they all fly high together.

Mrs. Warren was my teacher in Wildwood years ago. I loved her dearly, and she was a special person. I saw her a few months ago and, I didn't think she would remember me, but she said I remember all my kids. God has a special mansion prepared for her. So sorry to all her family.
