Betty Christine Hurlburt's Obituary
Betty Christine Hurlburt, 81, of Leesburg, FL passed away Monday, April 3, 2023. She was born Monday, February 16, 1942, in Lyons, GA to James and Jewel (nee Mumford) Shepherd.
Betty retired with the Lake County Sherriff's Office as a Corrections Officer. She enjoyed being a part of her Bowling League, gardening and spending quality time with all of her grandbabies.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Norman R. Hurlburt; daughters: Chrissie (Roberto) Silva, Ellie Gough, Gayle (Sam) Smart, Julie (Joseph) Brooks, and Connie (Joseph) Botella; brother, Mickey (Shirley) Shepherd; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
There will be a viewing from 11 am to 12 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Funeral Service beginning at 12 pm Friday, April 7, 2023, at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785.
Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park, FL.
