Betty J. Driggers' Obituary
Betty J. Driggers, age 83 of Wildwood passed away on October 19, 2018 in The Villages, Florida. Betty was born on October 11, 1935 to George P. and Thelma L. (Johnson) Hart in Leesburg Florida. Betty married Perry Driggers in 1972 and preceded her in death in 2010.
Betty worked in customer service for several banks in Wildwood for most of her adult life. She is a member of the Oxford Assembly of God and loved her church family. Betty lived in Wildwood all her life and loved spending time in the forest and loved nature. She would go hunting with her husband and loved spending time looking at the clouds and admiring the wonders, works, and the Glory of God.
Betty is survived by her step-son Steve and Pam Driggers of Oxford, brother Carl and Elva Hart of Wildwood, brother Kevin and Sandra Hart of Oxford, sister Jaynell Shawn and Jerry Green of Wildwood, nephew Kaleb Hart, nephew Roger Green and niece LaDawn Hall.
Visitation for Betty will be at the Oxford Assembly of God on Wednesday October 24th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 at the church, Burial will immediately follow at Pine Level Cemetery in Oxford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Assembly of God Church in Oxford Missions Dept or to Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages.
