Bertha Mae Sapp's Obituary
Bertha Mae Sapp, 86, of Webster, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Mrs. Sapp was born September 29, 1925, in Blackshear, Ga. and moved to Sumter County in 1961 from Orange Lake. She was of the Baptist Faith, a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening. Survivors include her daughter Shirlee Hatcher of Webster; son Travis (Marie) Sapp of Webster; 4 brothers, James (Clara) Walker, Stanley (Mable) Walker , Lyman Walker all of Ocala and Jack (Billie) Walker of Jacksonville; 2 sisters, Myrtle Walters and Melba Anderson both of Jacksonville; sister-in-law, Dell Walker of Jacksonville; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Arthur Eugene and 2 sons, Richard Anthony and James Paul and a daughter Linda Sue Sapp. Bertha Sapp’s life will be celebrated 11:00A.M., Tuesday, October 25, 2011, in the Interdenominational Worship Center, Bushnell with the committal service following in Florida National Cemetery.
